Look at the new snow Big Bear received! Snow Summit | Bear Mountain Snow Report January 2025

Hello Youtube! Thanks for checking out this latest video from my channel. Big Bear Lake, CA finally received a decent snow storm yesterday and all the skiers and snowboarders are stoked!! In this video, you'll see a first hand view of how the coverage is at Snow Summit (I'll do a separate video of Bear Mountain next week), how the roads are looking, and some good ol ASMR from up in the mountains.

Currently, Snow Summit has every chair running on the weekdays except the Bowl Chair (#?) and chair 10. Westridge Park is open and filled with fun features top to bottom. The Family Fun Park is also open, so is Chair 7 on the east side, and chair 4 to access Ego Trip. I'd say Snow Summit is about 90% open, and likely to open up additional runs/chairs in the next 2-3 weeks as snowmaking permits....or when we get more natural snowfall.

All in all, the conditions were great, the lines were short, the parking is free up top on Monday-Thursday non-holiday, the vibes were high and the staff is friendly as always. Cheers, Snow Summit, you are giving us the goods and we thank you!
