京都・山科の桜2025｜琵琶湖疏水と毘沙門堂門跡【お花見 / 京都】

京都市山科の琵琶湖疏水（山科疎水）沿いの桜並木と毘沙門堂門跡をお散歩してきました。
琵琶湖疎水は、琵琶湖の水を京都へ引き込むためにつくられた水路です。山科の区間では、川沿いに咲く桜と菜の花の風景を楽しむことができます。
毘沙門堂門跡（もんぜき）は、703年に開かれた天台宗の寺院です。1665年に、現在の場所に再建されました。門跡とは、皇族や公家が出家して門主を就めるお寺のことです。境内には大きなシダレザクラやソメイヨシノが美しく咲き誇っていました。
I took a walk along the Biwako Sosui (Lake Biwa Canal) and the Bishamondo Temple in Yamashina, Kyoto City.
Biwako Sosui is a waterway created to draw water from Lake Biwa into Kyoto. In the Yamashina section, you can enjoy the scenery of cherry blossoms and rape blossoms along the river.
Bishamondo, a temple of the Tendai sect opened in 703, was rebuilt in 1665 at its present location. In the precincts of the temple, large weeping cherry trees and someiyoshino cherry trees were in full bloom.
