VINTAGE BARBIE RESTORATION AND REVIEW! 1989 PEACH PRETTY BARBIE! MOLD AND STAIN REMOVAL TUTORIAL!

We will be trucking along the restoration train, stopping at each Barbie I’ve purchased at goodwill recently, and this stop is for Peach Pretty Barbie!

This doll has been on my review list since I first wanted to start my channel 5 years ago. The doll I got as a gift from my friend. Who in turn, I also gave her to a friend who I felt would appreciate her! They say if you love something and you let it go, and it comes back to you, it must love you in return!lol 

Today we are restoring her, top to bottom! Often I find these terrible surprises inside the boxes, and this time it was infact mold! Luckily, I got to it on time before it damaged her even more. Her elastics stretched out on her garment and pieces, most needed to be replaced. And of course, her hair! Who could forget?! It amps up the camp level to 1000!

The materials I’m using are listed below! Soft bristle toothbrush
De greasing dish soap
Baking soda
Moisturizing conditioner
Wide tooth comb

For stain removal I used remove zit, by twin pines. You do not need a heated lamp for this, the suns heat would work fine. This is a link to the product : https://dollspart.com/index.php?main_...

For hair curling:
Fine tooth comb (rat tail preferred)
Perm papers(which you can make from two ply paper towels)
Foam hair curlers (link to curlers: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B09DNQ...)
Diluted gel, I use got to be glued, one drop and a half cup of water. Perfect for any hair types!

Elastics:
