Corn ribs, are you kidding me?!?
Here at Tacticalories we aren’t messing around anymore with a modern take on your classic ribs. An amazing campfire treat and an even better excuse to eat your vegetables.
Combining the flavors of Sweet Peach Bourbon BBQ and Adirondack Smoke BBQ, we bring forth a new way to eat corn.
With a rich hickory flavor and sweet peach punch this is something you’ll want to make the next time you’re at camp.
Prep Time: 10 Minutes
Cook Time: 15 Minutes
Servings: 4 People
Ingredients:
4 Corn on Cob
2 tbsp Vegetable or Olive Oil
2 tbsp of Adirondack Smoke BBQ, Smoky Hickory BBQ Seasoning
½ cup of Sweet Peach Bourbon BBQ Sauce
Directions for Sweet Peach Bourbon BBQ Corn Ribs
First, cut the corn into riblets. The best method is to stand the corn up vertically with the wider end being against the table. Once it’s standing vertically go ahead and chop it in half, then chop those halves into quarters. After, place the riblets into a catering tray that will then be placed into the grill.
Prepare a grill for medium-high heat.
Lightly dress the corn riblets in the oil and make sure to cover all of the riblets. After dressing the riblets in oil, start to put on your Adirondack Smoke BBQ, Smoky Hickory BBQ Seasoning, making sure to cover all of the riblets. Then begin to brush on the Sweet Peach Bourbon BBQ Sauce.
Put the catering tin into the grill and close it. Cook until the edges are beginning to char and caramelize slightly. The corn kernels should be crisp-tender when they’re done.
Transfer the corn to a platter and brush with a little more Sweet Peach
Bourbon BBQ Sauce and then garnish with green onion.
