Today's Pick of the Day is pure 1959 rock and roll excellence, a Gibson Les Paul Standard by the name of "Son of the Preacher Man" and a same year Fender High Powered Tweed Twin amp! Many of you will recognize this guitar not just from previous videos, but from its previous owner's performances and incredible collection! This guitar embodies everything you've heard about the "Burst" in sound and feel, and its top has a fairly unique look for these holy-grail guitars. Paired up with one of the finest Fender amps ever made - the tweed 1959 Twin in high-power flavor... you've got the coolest combination of guitar and amp that one could hope for.
