Bhatura Recipe :
INGREDIENTS
All purpose flour - 2 cup
Baking powder - 3/4 tsp
Baking soda - 1 pinch
Curd - 1/4 cup
Milk - 1/2 cup
Sugar - 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Oil - 1 tbsp
Water - 2 tbsp
PREPARATION
1. In a bowl, add 2 cup all purpose flour, 3/4 tsp baking powder and a pinch of baking soda. Give it a good mix.
2. In another bowl, combine 1/4 cup curd, 1/2 cup milk, 1 tbsp sugar and salt to taste together.
3. Add 1 tbsp oil and the milk mixture to the dry ingredients and knead well for 5 -6 mins or until it turns soft. Add 2 tbsp of water while kneading to give moisture to the flour.
4. Grease a bowl with oil, place the dough and grease the dough also with some oil. Cover & let it rest for 2 hours.
5. Divide the dough into balls to make bhaturas. Grease with flour and roll the bhaturas! Make sure it is thicker than a chapati!
6. Heat oil in a kadai and slide one bhatura once the oil is hot enough. Press it down gently with the spatula to puff up completely! Flip it and fry till it turns golden! Serve with Chole! ❤❤❤
