Arm River Track

A cruisy 2 day overnight out and back hike on the beautiful Arm River Track.

Starting from seemingly the middle of nowhere on the edge of Cradle Mountain National Park, into the heart of the Overland Track, finishing at New Pelion Hut.

Some short sharp uphill sections, open plateau's and lakes, then along the foreshore of Lake Argyl. It's one of the best hikes in the Cradle Moutain area.

On our 2017 Overland Track attempt, after incurring an injury, we were rescued by the Tasmanian Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service.
