I am sure that by now everyone who was even remotely interested in "Where The Crawdads Sing" by Delia Owens has already read the book or, at the very least, has watched the movie. Well, not me...
I don't know about you, bet when it comes to these popular, "must read" novels, once they reach a certain level of recognition, I start to see them EVERYWHERE, to the point where I feel exhausted of the book, even before I start reading it. And the same thing happened here, I bought the book, I put it on my shelves and I continued to ignore it for at least a couple of years, before finally giving it a try.
And oh my... WHAT. A. BOOK! Hands down one of the best novels I've read in 2023 and probably one of the best novels I have read ever. It's unique, it's beautiful, it's heartbreaking and it's absolutely unpredictable. I absolutely loved it!
