Wellllll, here we are again! I had the hardest time deciding if this was Video number 1 or video number 2. I went with 2. *shrug*. The life of an over-thinking-second-guesser.

Anyway. This pleating thing...easy as it LOOKS when ‪@Sheleeart‬ does it...BWAHAHAHA...either it's ridiculously hard, or I'm missing something. It's okay, though, with each try, I'm picking up on small changes that I can make to see if I can help myself. I can tell you that these practice substrates have a whole different feel to canvas, and it seems that the paint behaves a little differently. There being no sag in these, the pillow just spreads out thinner...just like on a wood or tile substrate. That's a great thing...until ya don't want it to spread so quickly. LOL. Okay, next time, we do that differently.

All I could do was giggle at this one. Now...I did get some of what I'm looking for, which is just grand...but lawzy...well, you'll see. This is why we practice. This is why I'm letting you WATCH me practice. No, I'm not doing extra pieces between the practices you see. You get the real, raw deal (oh, lucky you). I feel like I should go down there every day and make myself practice...but I also know that if I force it, I'll get frustrated and rebel against the whole process....so...basically, even I can't tell me what to do and make myself actually do it.

All of these practice pieces will be on 8x10 canvas boards that I've prepared ahead of time so they won't warp.

Pillow: PPG Multi-Pro 47-3110
PM: Sherwin Williams Infinity Base C In Semi-Gloss, Varathane Triple Thick Water-based Gloss Polyeurathane mixed 2:1 paint to varnish. Add water if needed for consistency
CA: 1.5 (ish) part Australian Floetrol to 1 part paint
