In this video, I’m diving into one of my favourite parts of watercolour painting - creating a loose, expressive landscape starting with a bold, imperfect first wash.
You will see how I build the scene from the ground up, using a mix of warm and cool colours, soft and hard edges, fun textures, and playful techniques, to create depth, light, and atmosphere in this peaceful scene.
