As summer in New Zealand comes to a close, I’m beyond excited to finally share my homegrown watermelon harvest with you! After months of care and patience, I’ve picked a dozen beautiful watermelons from five unique varieties: Sugar Baby, Moon and Stars, Crimson Sweet, Gold in Gold, and Candy Red. Each one has its own vibrant colour, shape, and pattern—some are small, but all are bursting with sweetness and flavour! 😋
To celebrate the season’s end, I made a refreshing ice-cold watermelon lemonade, the perfect drink to soak up the last golden days of summer. Join me on this joyful harvest, and let’s savor the simple pleasures of homegrown goodness together! 🌿🍉☀️
