he reproductive organs in the human body have one important role:
to produce the special cells needed to begin new life and to create a safe place for a baby to develop.
Male Reproductive Organs
The male reproductive system makes and delivers sperm.
Two testes produce sperm cells.
The sperm duct carries these sperm from the testes.
The penis is the organ that transfers sperm into the female body during reproduction.
These parts work together to create and transport sperm.
Female Reproductive Organs
The female reproductive system produces eggs and provides the place where a baby can grow.
Ovaries produce the egg cells, called ova.
The oviducts are where fertilisation (the joining of sperm and egg) happens.
The uterus or womb is where a baby develops during pregnancy.
The birth canal receives sperm during reproduction and is the passage through which a baby is born.
These organs work together to produce eggs, support fertilisation, and allow a baby to grow and be delivered safely.
