For the first time ever the most recent 21st century new build steam locomotives all met each other at the Bluebell Railway to participate in their annual Giants of Steam event, celebrating the achievements of new build steam.
The gala would feature headline locos: ◾LNER Peppercorn A1 No. 60163 "Tornado" ◾GWR 6800 Class No. 6880 "Betton Grange" ◾GWR 2900 Class No. 2999 "Lady of Legend"
As well as the Bluebells own:
◾ LB&SCR H2 Class No. 32424 "Beachy Head"
