Join me as we take a look around the medway queen in her centenary year!!
This paddle steamer was built in 1924 by the new medway steam packet company where she spent many years carrying passengers up and down the river medway.
She was they enlisted into service during world war 2 where she was a mine sweeper and was involved in operation dynamo where she save 7,000 souls that day...
In 1963 she was then repurposed into a night club based in the Ryde on the Isle of Wight before being left in disrepair...
She would then be purchased by the medway queen preservation socity and has been based in her home town to this day...
