This session is the culmination of collaborative work conducted over the past year with members of the CBCF President and CEO Leaders’ Circle. This group of partners works together to identify areas for strategic collaboration and create solutions to the issues facing organizations whose work focuses on justice, equity, and democracy. The leaders have spent the past year in working groups focusing on key areas of challenge and opportunity. Session attendees will hear briefings from the working groups focused specifically on the racial wealth gap and reducing mass incarceration. The session will be anchored by a panel of national experts to discuss challenges with cross-sector collaborations and strategies for successful partnerships that intersect housing, work, and second chances.
