I Walked Back Into a Place Changed by the Storm

I explored a creek that was heavily damaged by a recent storm. Fallen trees, broken banks, and exposed rock showed how much the landscape had changed. After walking the creek, I found a quiet spot and spent eight minutes in a creekside meditation.

This area is in the southern Appalachian Mountains and was impacted by Hurricane Helene.
