So I was an idiot and backed into a lamp post and busted my rear Toyota Tacoma 2020 bumper pretty badly. Luckily the bumper is mostly plastic parts and are all easy to source online and was able to get it back into shape for about $60. The bumper bracket is one solid piece and yes it does have an attachment for a Blind Spot Sensor if you have one.
The process is pretty simple, although it took me awhile to figure out how to remove the busted bracket. Hopefully this video will save you some time.
Step 1: Remove the Bumper cover (if your's didn't fall off) & Detach the sensors to the broken bumper bracket.
Step 2: Remove all the pieces of the bumper bracket (6 bolts holding it in place 4 above and 2 below. You will need to pry up the step pad to access the bolts on the top.
Step 3: Attach new Bumper Bracket, and attach the sensors to the bracket. Attach the wires to the sensors.
Step 4: Attach the bumper cover with new fasteners (unless you were able to save all your fastners in the accident).
NOTE : You do not need to remove the entire bumper, not even the step pad. All you need to do is remove the bumper cover (which probably will fall off after your accident) and lift the step pad.
Parts Needed:
1) Rear Bumper Bracket (approx $59). https://www.carparts.com/details/Toyo...
2) Bumper cover (if your's broke)
3) Fasteners (available at O'reilly or other auto parts store). (about $10)
