Idli rice 5 Cups
Urid Dhal 1 Cup
Poha (Aval) 1/4 Cup
Fenugreek 1 Tps
How to prepare
Wash and soak Idli rice separately, Urid Dhal and Fenugreek seeds separately for overnight in refrigerator
The next day morning wash and soak Poha
Start grinding Urid Dhal 35 to 40 minutes, collect the batter in a bowl
Next start grinding Idli rice and Poha. Grind well
After completion of grinding collect the batter and mix with Urid Dhal batter
Add 2 Tbs salt and mix it well
Allow fermentation for 8 to 9 Hours
Spongy idli batter is ready
