In this lesson we'll take an introductory look at electrically controlled systems and discuss the advantages, applications, and characteristics of such systems.We'll discuss the differences between pilot and primary signals, switches and sensors, hardwired relay based ladder logic and programmable logic controllers and introduce basic ladder logic diagrams.
