Shade — I'm Still Here (Silverwing AMV) [HD]

Hey guys, it's been a while since I uploaded an AMV. This is my first Silverwing AMV, but I'm not sure how many I'm going to be doing. Mostly because I'm too busy to make videos in general, but also because I only have 1 season (13 episodes) to work with for the Silverwing TV series.

I hadn't intended on making this initially, but recently I decided to watch the Silverwing TV series again after writing a Silverwing fanfiction. It was a sequel to Firewing, but I thought I could get some ideas from the show anyway. It took me a week to get through the first draft, and it's about 90 pages long on Microsoft Word. If you're interested in reading it, I've posted links below.

After deciding that I would make a Silverwing AMV, I had to find a suitable audio track. My inspiration for that came from CaptainLauraSmith, who used this song for her Balto AMV. It's a really good video, I strongly recommend you watch it:    • Balto I'm Still Here  

The lyrics to this song are really fitting for the characters I'm thinking of. Most of the video comprises of Shade, who feels out of place in his colony and among the others he meets; he is constantly belittled by Chinook and Goth, and thinks that the only one who understands him is Marina. Marina also finds a sense of belonging among the banded bats, but questions whether she is meant to be with them. And Orestes is self-conscious of how his father and the other owls estrange him; when he goes to Hibernaculum with Shade and Marina, he finds that the Silverwings don't trust him because he is an owl. Basically, I liked the message that this song delivers, and how it relates to the characters in the story.

Oh yeah, if anyone who watched my Redwall AMVs comes across this, I hope you're a fan of Silverwing. If not, I hope you can read the novels sometime, it's a really good book series.
