Isla Madre de Dios is a remote island in Patagonia, with extraordinary lime stone formations. In addition the climate is one of the most extreme on the planet with 8000 - 9000 mm of rain per year and 70km/h average wind speeds.
Due to its remoteness and difficult access it is rarely visited. This slide show documents a Chilean expedition.
