If your spider plant is not growing, chances are it’s not receiving enough lighting. The spider plant prefers four and a six hours of indirect lighting every single day. His house plant is considered a low light plants but it still needs more lighting than you might think. Spider plants don’t like direct lighting so do you not put it in direct sunlight. Indirect lighting is where the plant is near sunlight but not directly in the rays of the sun.
The easiest way to get your spider plant to roll more is to give it more indirect lighting. Think about moving your spider plant to a different window in your house so that it receives more sunlight. This plant will absolutely take off with 4 to 6 hours of indirect lighting.
It is also important to make sure that you were watering your spider plants adequately. If you are using a watering can to water your spider plant it may not be receiving enough water to the root system. Consider watering your spider plant with a bottom watering method. This is a methodology of watering houseplants using a dish of water to put your plant inside of. This allows the house plant to receive water from the bottom up in the soil. This allows the entire plot of dirt to be absorbed in water in ensuring the root system receives adequate amounts of water.
