1968 Mustang | Cosmetic Cleanup & First Drive in Years

This 1968 Ford Mustang was built from the ground up by my dad — axles to air cleaner in just a couple of months. It’s a beautiful car, but it isn’t perfect… and that’s exactly what makes it special. Today we’re fixing the fender and hood panel gaps, cleaning up some cosmetic issues, and finally taking it out for its first real drive in years.
Not every classic has to be a high-dollar build. A car like this can still be affordable enough for a young person to get into the hobby and start their love for classic cars. My dad bought it after his diagnosis, and while it isn’t the most sentimental car in the garage, it’s still part of our story.
