Clean cut metal shower niche trim, here is how

Often times it will be necessary to use a metal aluminum trim instead of a bull nose to finish exposed tile edges, in this video I show how to make a clean crisp cut. Miters can be especially difficult if the correct tools are not used. A chop saw with a special metal cutting blade can make quick easy work of these cuts. I often use Schluter aluminum jolly trim to finish tile edges when bullnose is not available or the metal is the desired look. I will just caution anyone that uses this method to be very careful and to use all necessary protective gear as the spinning metal blade of the chop saw is very dangerous and will easily cut through flesh and bone.
