In winter it is very popular to go skiing, and it is known to be a snow safe location. In summer people love to go hiking as it is a beautiful area with great hiking trails. Located in the heart of Switzerland, close to Milano and Zurich, it has a great location for travellers.

Towards the end you will also see one of the most famous and luxurious hotels called The Chedi which opened its doors in 2013. It was the first Luxury hotel in Andermatt since the investors came into the village and it was ranked the number 1 hotel of Switzerland and one of the best hotels in Europe.

Andermatt is also known to attract many super car owners and car clubs as you can go on some of the most famous roads on the world for driving on the St. Gotthardpass, Furkapass, Oberalppass and/or Klausenpass which are all around Andermatt.
