The foundation of our men's programs are solid strength progressions and hypertrophy work to build a great physique. The way the programs differ is the overarching goal of the program. In the Functional program our goal is to challenge your movement and work capacity while still getting you strong and muscular in the process. This particular training day started with a modified German Volume Training style superset and finished with a functional conditioning workout that will challenge your mobility, stability, and work capacity.
1a. Box Squat - 7x10 3010 Tempo
Rest 1 min
1b. 90* Back Extension - 7x10 3011 Tempo
Rest 1 min
2a. GHR - 3x6 - 8000 Tempo
2b. Cossack Squat - 3x8/6/4 each
Rest 90
3a. 3 Way Leg Press 3x6 each way
3b. Double Pump Leg Extension - 12/10/8
Rest 90
4.Standing Calf Raise - 10x10
Rest 30 sec
Conditioning:
5 Rounds for time
20 YD Single Arm Overhead KB each Arm
20 American KB Swings
20 KB Thrusters
