CAUTION: You CAN use aluminum foil directly on the hotplate & under the stainless pot for YOGURT PURPOSES ONLY!! To be safe, please REMOVE the foil after making yogurt to avoid any issues when using hotter cooking temps.

PLEASE NOTE... This video focuses more on the machines and how to manually adjust the temperature to accommodate the 100°F or 106°F that the L. Reuteri needs.  It does not show the recipe or how to make the actual yogurt. Please see our other videos for more information. 

IF YOU OWN AN INSTANT POT BRAND MULTI-COOKER WITH A YOGURT BUTTON and NO TEMPERATURE CONTROL (like an IP-DUO, DUO NOVA, etc), USE Method 2:
trivet on the bottom
water level up to the top of the trivet
fill glass jars with the yogurt mixture
place lid on jars
remove silicone ring from IP top cover and place top cover on pot
vent release in closed position
The final yogurt temp after 36 hours will be about 100°-102° which is perfect for L. Reuteri!👌
