Author Interview: Ngoc Minh Ngo

If you aren’t already familiar with her work, Ngoc Minh Ngo is a renowned garden photographer and writer who beautifully and soulfully captures the natural world. I met Ngoc for the first time in September of 2019 when she came to photograph our dahlia field for a story in Martha Stewart Living magazine. She is a true master of her craft, methodical and precise, and it was so inspiring to witness her capture the magic of the farm. Ngoc returned to the farm this past summer to photograph our growing collection of roses to include her new book. While she was here, we sat down for an incredibly moving interview that I’m excited to share with you today. In it, Ngoc shares her beautiful and very personal history, how she came to photography, and what inspired her new book Roses in the Garden.
