Here’s a quick demo of the Seymour Duncan Custom 5 Trembucker (TB-14) installed in my 1998 Jackson USA RR1. This is a great “medium output” humbucker that tows the fine line between vintage PAF tones and modern output levels quite well. The bass and treble are quite present while the mids are tight and reserved.
For cleans, I’m using the Foundry amp model in the Genome software by Two Notes Audio,
The drive sounds come from a Friedman BE-100 Deluxe “BE” channel, run into the Two Notes Torpedo Captor and into a Celestion Vintage 30 4X12 impulse response in Logic Pro.
In the final segment, I add an Ibanez TS-Mini for added drive and a Boss DM-2W for added glory.
All tones feature Waves R-verb in the mix as well.
