About the song: The Baptist Student Ministries director asked us to use this song in our concerts. It is a song that is taken directly from the 23rd Psalm: The Lord is My Shepherd. A friend of one of our band members wrote this original tune. Ellen's lovely voice coupled with Debbie's wonderfully blended harmony makes this song a listening favorite.
Selah is a band comprised of students of California Baptist College 1974-1976, directed by the Baptist Student Ministries to provide concerts in local churches to promote the college. Their ministry used music, testimony and drama to convey their message of Jesus Christ; focusing on the Christian life lived in personal relationship with Christ. Their music style is derived from the influence of the Jesus Movement in the 70's. Most of their music is original or covers from music by known or unknown sources.
