2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L Summit Reserve Interior Review! Is Jeep is a Luxury Brand Now?

After spending a week with the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L Summit Reserve… I may have fallen in love. Specced out here with the High Altitude package and a bold Hydro Blue Pearl two-tone finish with special wheels and a gorgeous Palmero leather and open pore wood interior, this $76k beast blew me away with its ride and handling quality, interior materials, and just a true luxury feel.

@Alllcarnews Spec Sheet: Currently you can get a Grand Cherokee L in a 3.6L V6 or with a 5.7L V8. My tester came with the V6 making an OK 293HP and 257 lb-ft of torque paired to a 8-speed auto. MPG isn’t good at around 19 MPG City/26 MPG HWY/22 MPG Combined. We also have a Quadra–Trac II® 4WD System, Electronic Limited–Slip Differential Rear Axle, and Quadralift air suspension.

The ups:
-The looks, inside and our, are TOP TIER. And that goes for build quality inside and out. It gets a 9/10 here
-The handling and suspension comfort feels German/european
-Technology offered is class leading with night vision, a passenger screen, advanced driver systems and more.

The downs:
-Though the tech is good… there were a host of glitches and the instrument cluster is a hot mess.
-MPG is very disappointing even in the V6, we NEED a 4XE variant.
-SOME interior bits could be better, like the door controls & turning indicator.. and the massive fixed second row center console.

Regardless, I give eye catching SUV a solid 9/10.
