With a name steeped in history, Jeep know a thing or two about building cars that can not only hand rough terrain, but also take on the shopping run or daily driving duties. The 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L Summit Reserve is no exception.
Under the hood is a 3.6-litre petrol engine producing 210KW and 344Nm. It's a motor that does an impressive job of hauling the big 7-seat Grand Cherokee L, despite it's burgeoning 2,200kg plus tare weight.
It doesn't feel slow at all, and the engine note is fitting for a car with such large dimensions and on-road presence. The 8-speed automatic transmission responds rather quickly to throttle input and manual paddle control as well.
