Republic Day - Trooping the Presidential Colour Parade

On Friday 13th December 2019, the Armed Forces of Malta mounted a Trooping to The Presidential Colour Parade, composed of 1 Colour Escort Guard and 3 other Guards. Each Guard consisted of 1 Officer, 1 RSM, 2 SNCOs, 2 JNCOs, and 24 other ranks. The Presidential Colour, Colour Party, and AFM Band were also on Parade. The Parade marched down Republic Street to St. George's Square in Valletta. HE The President of Malta and Commander of the Armed Forces of Malta inspected the Parade, which was followed by a Band display. The Escort for the Colour advanced, and the AFM Garrison Sergeant Major collected the Colour, after which he handed it over to the Colour Ensign. Following the Trooping of the Colour, the Parade marched past in slow and quick time by formings, and fired a Feu-de-Joie before the final National Anthem was played.
