Surprise Trip To Palawan! Filipino Taxi Driver Recommends Best Lechon

Erin has always wanted to go to El Nido, and during our last trip to the Philippines, we just didn’t have time. So, secretly, I’ve booked a flight to Puerto Princesa and a ferry back to Manila from Coron one week later.

El Nido is a little slice of paradise in Palawan, Philippines, known for its stunning white sand beaches, crystal-clear waters, and dramatic limestone cliffs. It’s perfect for nature lovers and adventure seekers, with activities like snorkelling, island hopping, and just soaking in the incredible views. It feels like something straight out of a movie – absolutely unforgettable!

I’ve managed to keep this a secret for a few weeks now, and as we head to the airport, bags packed, she still doesn’t know!
