Think of springs as the perfect hybrid between a dumbbell and a rubber band. At Lagree Fitness, we prefer springs to weights because the resistance and tension coming from the springs is elastic or variable, which is not the case with weight. In addition, we favor a spring over a rubber band because the effective range of tension on a rubber band is extremely limited compared to springs, and rubber bands break very easily....
