To prepare a bar bending schedule, the following information is needed:
Drawing: A detailed drawing of the structure that shows the locations and sizes of the reinforcement steel bars. Reinforcement details: Information about the reinforcement steel bars, including the diameter, length, number of bars required, and the type of steel used.
Bar bending: The bar bending schedule should specify the bending requirements for each reinforcement steel bar, including the angle and radius of the bend.
Marking: The BBS should also specify the marking requirements for each reinforcement steel bar, including the identification number, length, and location of the bar.
Once all of this information has been gathered, the BBS can be prepared using standard templates or software tools. The BBS should be checked and verified by a qualified engineer to ensure that it is accurate and complete. How to properly estimate materials for a construction project using AutoCAD and Excel. Here's how you can use the Data Extraction command: Open your AutoCAD drawing.
Type "DATAEXTRACTION" in the command line and press Enter, or you can access it through the "Insert" tab in the ribbon and select "Extract Data" from the "Linking & Extraction" panel.
The "Data Extraction Wizard" dialog box will appear. Follow the steps in the wizard to configure your data extraction settings.
1. In the first step, choose the option to create a new data extraction or use an existing template.
2. In the second step, select the objects from which you want to extract data. You can choose specific objects, the entire drawing, or a selection set.
3. In the third step, specify the properties you want to extract from the selected objects. You can choose from a list of available object properties or create custom properties using expressions.
4. In the fourth step, define the output format for your extracted data. You can choose to create a table within AutoCAD, export the data to an external file such as CSV or XLSX, or link the data extraction to an existing table.
Review the summary in the last step and click "Finish" to complete the data extraction process.
Once the data extraction is complete, you can access the extracted data in the specified output format. You can also update the extraction to include additional objects or modify the extraction settings as needed. Please note that the specific steps and options may vary slightly depending on the version of AutoCAD you are using.
