This unit has been specifically designed to be mounted in a #portable #container which can subsequently be connected to different #flu gas sources. This fully #automated custom 2-parallel unit has been designed specifically to accelerate #syngas #purification R&D for use in helping to #decarbonize heavy industries like #steel production by converting part of their #offgas #emmisisons to value-added #chemicals and #fuels like #methanol or #ammonia instead of just #burning them.

Use of multiple pre-#purification steps in combination with both #thermal and #coriolis mass #flowcontrollers from Bronkhorst allow the client to work with actual #slip streams from the #stack and tweak the #mixtures to attain precise feed #compositions. The high-temperature JULABO GmbH thermostats provide excellent #isothermicity and are capable of both adding and removing #heat of reaction. The entire unit is fully automated using a Siemens S7 #automation system in combination with the #Workflowmanager from Integrated Lab Solutions, which allows for complicated #multipstep #recipes to be executed with the click of a button.
