Welcome back guys! I’m sharing how I make pumpkin pie from scratch! It is so easy to make and freeze ahead. This recipe will save you money and allow you to choose healthier ingredients for your family.
Thanksgiving prep starts now!
🧑🏻🍳 All-Butter Pie Crust (makes 2 crusts)
2.5 cups all-purpose flour
1 Tbsp sugar
2 sticks (1 cup) COLD butter
5-7 Tbsp ice water
🥧 Pie Filling (makes 1 pie)
.75 cup sugar
.5 tsp salt
2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
2 eggs
1 can (15 oz.) pumpkin purée
1 can (12 oz.) evaporated milk
Cook at 425 F for 15 min
Cover crust with pie shield and continue to bake at 350 F for 40-45 min until center is slightly jiggly but not wet.
