In this video, you'll learn to make a risk assessment matrix in Excel. First, we'll create a table with all of the risks, their probability, impact, and risk level. Then, we'll built the matrix which will range from low to extreme. We'll make this dynamic with Excel dropdowns, the index match function, and conditional formatting for coloring the risk levels. First we'll build a text-based matrix, and then we'll build a numerical matrix ranging from 1 to 5. Finally, we'll create a risk assessment matrix chart using an Excel scatter plot where we can see all of the risks in one visual. This will have a gradient plot fill that goes from green as low to red as extreme.
