Our Lady Peace - Sorry (Drum Cover)

The last Our Lady Peace drum cover that I did I spoke about the drumming of Jeremy Taggart. He's a phenomenal drummer with great groove & feeling but that last cover certainly did not showcase his talents. This track is still just the tip of the iceberg of what this guy is capable of. I recently was browsing the Our Lady Peace sub reddit and this song was voted as one of the worst songs off the album Gravity and I don't understand why. The musicianship from the group is outstanding. Is it the lyrics? Who knows. The middle section is pretty heavy and super fun to play! Glad I got this one covered on my channel - the second one on YouTube! 🤔

I'm pretty proud of this Superior Drummer 3 kit. I started with the Drums & Darkness SDX (which is slowly becoming one of my favorite libraries) and everything right out of the box was pretty damn close. However, the original snare for this track is almost St. Anger sounding...ok, lol, maybe not that bad. It's very ringy and I had to dig into the NY Studios Vol.2 SDX to find a snare that fit the bill. Once that was figured out it sounded damn good! This kit might make a comeback with other covers with a different snare, we'll see which one fits that bill.

Oh, and the ending clip? The boi ‪@TreyBDrums‬ likes Buc-ee's...so let's see if he notices.
