One Night at Starry Domes Desert Camp – Wahiba Sands, Oman
We spent a night at Starry Domes Desert Camp in the heart of Wahiba Sands, during our trip to Oman.
March turned out to be the perfect time — warm enough for daytime adventures, yet cool and peaceful by night.
The domes themselves were incredible — like sleeping in a sci-fi bubble with views of endless dunes. Inside, we had all the comforts: air conditioning (though surprisingly, we didn’t need it!), a cozy bed, and even a private bathroom. The best part was waking up to golden sand stretching out in every direction.
We rode camels into the dunes and did some star gazing but the highlight was the morning walk when we saw all the animal tracks on the morning sand.
One night wasn’t enough!
