In this video I share with you my momma's heart and our story in waiting for our sons diagnosis and how we have chosen to do this.

When we Adopted from him from Colombia, we knew there was a possibility of health issues, but the lack of medical history made it a bit difficult to know what we could be looking at.

Recently, during an MRI, something came up they we hadn't expected.

The possibility of a diagnosis can be very scary. It's natural to want more information, to educate yourself. being a parent you want to do all that you can in protecting your child/children from anything harmful. however we cantprotect our children from everything.

So...we have chosen a different path in the time of waiting for a diagnosis. Even after the scary news of what we might be facing.

Rather than diving into a sea of fear, anxiety, and endless internet searches, we have decided to wait.
We dont want to let the fear consume us in the waiting of hearing what his diagnosis could be.
The waiting period is excruciating, but we refuse to let it steal precious moments of joy from us now. The grieving process has a time and a place but its not quite yet.

Instead, we turn to prayer and ask those around us to join us in lifting up our son.

Motherhood is hard but it is the greatest joy God has ever given me. Even when its scary with what you might be faced with. Trusting God in the uncertainty is best thing we can do in times of the unknown.
