Trip Report | American Eagle CRJ-700 Main Cabin Extra | Washington DC to Atlanta

Flying down to Atlanta from DC on an American Eagle CRJ-700 during the early morning hours of the Juneteenth holiday.

After settling in my seat it was interesting to see other passengers make note of how small the aircraft was upon boarding. This seems to be a fairly common occurrence with CRJ flights. We made our way over to the runway and departed to the south and then turned west. Along the ascent out of DC, we had nice views of Dulles airport and Manasses airport before continuing onto Atlanta.

The flight attendants passed out biscoff cookies & coffee or juice. The weather remained clear throughout the duration of the flight. Eventually we began our descent into Atlanta, with views of the city skyline before landing.
