Old Haveli Of Bakhshi Ram Singh In Kauntrila Village Of District Rawalpindi Pakistan

In this video we will show you 139 years old and historical but deserted 3 storeys mansion called "Kauntrila Haveli" which is an amazing masterpiece of construction. This mansion was constructed by Bakhshi Ram Singh in 1886 during the British Era. 32 maze types rooms, 2 watch towers, well of water and especially a basement was constructed inside this mansion. An elder stopped the construction work repeatedly this is very amazing and an interesting story. Now this old mansion has been deserted and is presenting a view of ruins. The construction of this historical mansion started in 1871 and completed in 1886 after the period of 15 years. In ancient time the people called this haveli "Maari" means tall house in Punjabi language. The foundations of this mansion is 8 feet inside the earth. When the building of the mansion were lifted up from foundations they collapsed. Than Bakhshi Ram Singh told this incident to his religion leaders they asked him if any Shrine is present around ? Bakhshi Ram Singh replied yes than the religion leaders said to the Bakhshi Ram go to this Shrine asked apologizing and give vows. But no one will stay on the top of the building than this building will be completed. Than Bakshi Ram Singh promised and stayed on it. It is said that the building fell 6 times and at last completed in 7th attempt. There is nearby a Shrine of Syed Abdullah Shah Bukhari and this was his miracles. A tradition is that a tunnel is goes from this mansion to guest house. This old mansion is a historical place and is situated in Kauntrila Village of Tehsil Gujjar Khan District Rawalpindi. In the end I will request to the Government Of Pakistan to restore this historical mansion in its original condition. I hope you will like and enjoy this video.
