Big One: the term is commonly used by NASCAR to refer to those accidents involving multiple cars on the grid. In the case of americans the proximity and quantity of cars favor big accidents, which in some cases involve more than half of the participants. In Formula 1, this type of accident is rare for the reasons mentioned, but still occurs.
