I was given the opportunity to work with my good old friend Monze Garcia on her very first mariachi music video. She was the director and editor of Don Mariachi's music video and made me so special! I've also shared the behind the scenes, from a folklórico dancer's perspective, of preparing for this mariachi music video. Enjoy!

My name is Carmen Xochimil Flores and I have been dancing since I was 8 years old. And I absolutely love it!

I started this channel in mind of the little 8 year old fetus Carmen who had no clue what to expect when it came to Folklórico. As I continue to stay active in the community, I noticed this huge problem of beginners being left in the shadows without any guidance on how to navigate our world. And it's not getting any better. Here's everything I wished someone would have told me sooner.
