Do not feed the wildlife (like we did, before we knew better)
We jokingly call it the Quepos Triathalon: rowing or paddling to shore, hiking a trail up to the road, then walking up a long, steep road to Manuel Antonio. It gets the heart pumping!
Wiping off our sweat, we then catch a bus that goes back down the ridge into the coastal town of Quepos. There, we found excellent shopping and a central farmer's market.
