I took Avanti West Coast’s new train, Class 807 ‘Evero’ from Coventry to Milton Keynes Central.
It is a 200km/h train made by Hitachi Works, operated by Avanti West Coast.
Unlike the existing 390 type, it consists of seven cars and is also characterized by running on the existing line, and it don’t have tilting system so speed on West Coast Main Line was limited on 110mph(177km/h).
It is a train designed to replace the existing 220 type and 221 type diesel cars.
Unlike conventional AT300 trains, it does not have tilting function, so it runs at 110mph(177km/h)which is less than the maximum speed of 125mph(201km/h).
But each seat is equipped with a mobile phone wireless charger.
Still, as it is a new train manufactured in the 2020s, it boasts a much cleaner interior than the existing 390-type Pendolino.
However, it is a disadvantage that you have to look at the timetable carefully to get on the Evero train because there’s not many number of trains.
But it was good train I think, so I recommend you to take a journey on this train :)
