Title:
"Overview of AAPM Report TG334: A Guidance Document to Using Radiotherapy Immobilization Devices and Accessories in an MR Environment"

Abstract:
This talk will review AAPM Report TG334 which provides guidance on the safe use and integration of RT immobilizations devices and accessories in the MR environment, including recommendations on MR safety labeling, testing, and evaluation of these devices for clinical use. Practical clinical recommendations and actions that medical physicists and other qualified health professionals
practicing in MRgRT can take to support and safely integrate into these hybrid environments will be reviewed along with proposals on staffing involvement, training, and responsibilities

Biographical Summary:
B.S. in Physics at Wake Forest University, Ph.D. in Medical Physics at University of Wisconsin-Madison, Residency at Tom Baker Cancer Center, Calgary, AB. DABR and MCCPM. After working at McGill from 2010-2018 have worked with protons and MR-linac. I am now back at a university setting in my home state of North Carolina at Wake Forest University Medical School where I am an Assistant Professor and involved in our graduate program.
