Cylinder plug and a timing disk where used in the making of this video. Remember to install the plug in the beginning of the compression stroke. Once installed rotate the engine in the direct of rotation of the engine till it touches the plug at this time set the timing disk to 0. next you will rotate in the opposite direction of rotation till the plug hits and note the degrees of travel. Rotate again till you touch the plug in the directional rotation of the engine. Next you will subtract those degrees from 360. The answer will be divided by two and you will move up in the direction of rotation for the amount of degrees you calculated. Congratulations you can know find top dead center on any reciprocating engine with ease.
